FAQ
Will these hood vents let water into the engine bay?
Like most hood vent setups, water can enter during rain or washing. On track builds this is normal, and most owners route sensitive components appropriately. If you daily-drive in heavy rain, plan accordingly.
Do I need professional installation?
Not required, but recommended if you’re not comfortable cutting a hood. A DIY install is very doable with the right tools and patience.
What’s the difference between side vents and center vent?
Side vents are typically chosen for strong heat extraction, while a center vent is often chosen to help relieve high-pressure air. The combined setup is best for dedicated track builds.
Does this affect hood structure or strength?
Any hood modification changes the structure slightly. This kit is designed for proper placement and secure mounting, but use good judgement and follow best practices during installation.
Is hardware included?
Yes — hardware and templates are included to support a clean, repeatable install.
